For years, Pet World has proudly hosted the adoption center for Stray Pets in Need of Massachusetts. Because the shelter and adoptions are managed on a volunteer basis, the shelter has its own hours and its own policies.

Adoption hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Special Needs Cats to Good Home

Rock and Roll are a wonderful four year old brother and sister team that must be adopted together. They love to play and eat and Roll especially loves to sleep in her hammock. They have a neurological disorder called cerebella hyperplasia also known as inutero distemper. As kittens, they were adopted by a wonderful family, but when they were three years old, their family moved to Japan and they were unable to take themalong. However, our contract states we take our cats back so they returned them to us. Now they have been with us for a while, and because of their disorder some are nervous about adopting them. But don't be! Rock and Roll can do almost everything that our other cats can, but climbing is hard for them. They can even climb on the bed and they use the litter box with no problem. They can go up and down stairs but do better if the stairs are carpeted. They would love a forever home if only someone would give them a chance.
